Some wounds will not heal without God- Reflexion

I do not know a single person who has no emotional injuries, who has not had trauma at least in childhood. Deep wounds can be very, very difficult to heal and if we don\’t get closer to God, even more difficult. Obviously, therapy can be necessary and very useful, but as I mentioned in some other post, the most successful program for alcoholism,  \”Alcoholics Anonymous\” includes God, and I don\’t think it would have the same results without Him.
Both alcoholism and addictions are secondary manifestations of deep wounds in the soul, but they are not the only ones. Toxic relationships are another example. Sometimes we don\’t even realize we carry a wound until life circumstances make us conclude that we might have a problem. It does not matter what type of wound we have or how it manifests itself. In addition to the psychological therapy that we require, we must ask God with all our soul to help us heal our wounds. There are many healing prayers, workshops, and healing retreats in parishes. (Be careful not to get into strange things of the new age because that can backfire, in addition to opening doors that we should not open).
But suppose we don\’t have any tools at hand or a workshop nearby or retreat nearby. It is very easy, let us pray the rosary or at least the crown of divine mercy, daily as requested by the Virgin of Fatima, asking God with all our soul and all our being to heal us.
